It’s Illegal for an Employer to Fire You for Insisting they Pay Overtime Wages You are Entitled to

It is illegal for your employer to fire you or otherwise retaliate against you for insisting that they pay you overtime wages you are entitled to.  Here’s a case from California in which over $500,000 was awarded to three employees who lost their jobs after complaining about their employer’s failure to pay overtime wages:
